You stand for strength and pride, so true.
You won't show the true feelings you have, only to remain standing proud.
You spread your wings with a majestic flair, but only to hide a glossy stare.
You do it for our foolish desperation to believe in something, as solid as our nation.
When we are down and feeling blue we come to you for strength and courage, helping us through triumphant victories.
But is it fair to hide in despair, from the public eye?
For you must be true to yourself and let out the gentle dove in you, could it be, is that a tear in your eye?
